How do you like when you’re told what to do?
Where to work, when to play, just because you are you?
That’s what it’s like to be a slave.
You can’t make your own decisions, even when you behave!
No bikes, no toys, no video games!
No parks, no swings, no playing with toy trains!
Work work work, all day and all night.
Work work work, when it’s dark and when it’s bright!
Now Moses was born Jewish, but raised as an Egyptian prince.
He knew slavery was wrong, there was no need to convince.
He could have been selfish,
He could have said “well at least I’m well off.”
But when seeing the injustice, it really made him scoff!
But mistreatment still exists around the world, you see.
And just like the Jewish people, everyone deserve to be free.
We hope and we pray this poor treatment comes to an end, We should treat each other fairly, treat everyone as a friend.
